Here in Hamburg, Flavio defeated Altmaier in three tight sets after spending almost three hours on the court. It was a very tough first round match for him. So far this season, Cobolli has not had any remarkable results on the clay courts. His biggest clay court result was reaching the semifinals in Marrakech where he lost against Casper Ruud in three tight sets as we predicted.

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Zhang showed better tennis in the first round than Cobolli. The Chinese also played great clay court tennis throughout the whole season. We believe that he will win this match easily, and keep playing great on the clay.
That being said, Zhang winning is a value bet.

So far this season, besides winning the challenger title in Bordeaux, Fils has not had any remarkable results at the ATP tour level. Last year in Hamburg, Fils reached the semifinals where he lost against Zverev in straight sets. En route to the semifinal, Fils had some big wins, such as one against Ruud.
Laslo Djere has lost three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago at Wimbledon, Djere lost against Pouille in the first round of the tournament. Here in Hamburg, Laslo defeated Bergs in straight sets. Djere was great under pressure, saving 5/6 breakpoints. So far this season, Djere has not have any remarkable results on clay. Last year in Hamburg, Djere reached the final where he lost against Zverev in straight sets. He has a lot of points to defend this week.

According to the bookies, Fils is the slight favorite in this matchup. Both players have not been dominant this season so far. We believe that Djere could win here. However, we are going with the safer option with him covering the games handicap.
