ATP Estoril Day 4 Predictions

Miomir Kecmanovic vs Jurij Rodionov

Head to head – First Meeting

Jurij Rodionov is coming off of a confidence boosting win against seasoned clay courter Albert Ramos Vinolas. He now faces Miomir Kecmanovic who has had a disappointing start to 2023. The Serb however is very lethal once he finds his footing on the clay and expect him to do so here.
Predictions: Kecmanovic in 3

Roberto Bautista Agut vs Quentin Halys

Head to head – First Meeting

Roberto Bautista Agut will like the fact that clay court season has begun and he would dearly love to begin strong in Estoril and his first clay-court match of the year. He faces Quentin Halys who has had a decent year thus far but hasn’t particularly performed well on clay in his career. Expect the Spaniard to dominate the baseline rallies and start strong.
Prediction: Bautista Agut in 2

Hubert Hurkacz vs Bernabe Zapate Miralles

Head to head – First Meeting

It’ll be interesting to follow Hubert Hurkacz’s performance pre Wimbledon. The Pole has now been top 10 or thereabouts the past couple of years but clay has been his downfall at times. He has a relatively easy opener in Bernabe Zapate Miralles and should progress ahead but keep an eye on the Pole this week.
Prediction: Hurkacz in 2

Ben Shelton vs Dominic Thiem

Head to head – First Meeting

Ben Shelton is on his breakout year and he should be a decent player on clay based on his game style. The American has started well in Estoril and now takes on a vulnerable Dominic Thiem. The Austrian did win his first round match for just his second win of the year and that doesn’t bode well for Thiem. Expect Shelton to take the match to Thiem and break through his fragile confidence at the moment.
Prediction: Shelton in 3
