ATP Miami Open Day 2 Predictions
Daniel Elahi Galan vs Thiago Seyboth Wild
Head-to-head: first meeting
This is a good chance for the young Brazilian to show the immense talent he possesses. Thiago Seyboth Wild will be looking to make the most of the draw here in Miami as big names have opted out this year. Daniel Elahi Galan has played fairly well this year but Seyboth Wild will be the more settled out of the two as he’s coming through qualifying. Expect Seyboth Wild to get the win here.
Prediction: Seyboth Wild in 2

Aljaz Bedene vs Thomas Fabbiano
Head-to-head: first meeting
Aljaz Bedene is still a decent force to be reckoned with on hard courts and his campaign in Miami this year will be an interesting one to follow. The Slovenian reached the Round of 16 in Dubai and he should be able to dictate points more often than not against Thomas Fabbiano. The Italian is yet to win a main draw match this year and that trend doesn’t seem like to be reversing. Expect Bedene to be more consistent and progress ahead.
Prediction: Bedene in 2

Liam Broady vs Miomir Kecmanovic
Head-to-head: first meeting
Miomir Kecmanovic has had a mixed start to 2021. His win loss stands at 6-6 which is not commensurate with the Serb’s talent and game. Kecmanovic is a solid baseliner and is still very young. This year’s Miami Open provides the Serb with the perfect chance to go deep. First up is Liam Broady who did well to qualify for the main draw. Broady will make this match interesting but Kecmanovic’s game is much more solid and consistent. The Serb should be the one going forward.
Prediction: Kecmanovic in 3

Bjorn Fratangelo vs Fernando Verdasco
Head-to-head: first meeting
Fernando Verdasco makes his 2021 debut having last played in Astana in late October last year. The Spaniard is an exciting player to watch at all times and his return to the tour bodes well for the fans. His first match is against the American Bjorn Fratangelo. The American is coming off of a challenger event win in Cleveland and has blasted his way through qualifying here.
Expect Verdasco to be rusty since it’s his first match back and Fratangelo is capable of making full use of that. The Spaniard should put up a great fight here but looks like his winning ways will be delayed a little bit.
Prediction: Fratangelo in 3
