Vasek Pospisil vs Jannik Sinner

Head to Head: First meeting

Jannik Sinner made history in Sofia, becoming the first Italian to make the final, and it’s also his first official final at the age of 19. While he seems to be the favorite at first glance, once we dive deeper it won’t be as one-sided as it looks on paper. Vasek Pospisil is an experienced player who has been in this situation before, so he knows what to expect. Sinner will be playing his first final, and any time you make your first final nerves always tend to be a factor.

Both players have been playing an aggressive style of tennis on a very slow indoor hard court almost to the point of being a clay court. Pospisil hopes to bring his experience to the match and thinks it will help him in his last match of 2020. The young Italian, on the other hand, will be trying to win his first title in his first final–and if you look at the history books not many players have been that successful when it comes to their first-ever final.

This will be a great match to watch and both players are playing great tennis. I just feel the experience will be a huge factor and this could help Pospisil finish the year with a trophy in his hand and that is why I’m picking the Canadian to take it all.
Prediction: Pospisil in 3
