14 Fun Facts from Top14 Round One
- 1 – Bayonne v Toulouse was the only game of the weekend that ‘did not’ feature either a Yellow or Red Card
- 2 – Toulouse’s Sofiane Guitoune is the first try scorer of the 2023/2024 season, and the first points scorer
- 3 – Bayonne is the first club to sell out their stadium this season (Stade Jean Dauger).
- 4 – Oyonnax’s winger, Gavin Stark, has the fastest try of the season after scoring in just the second minute of their game vs Clermont
- 5 – Lyon lead the table/standings as they’re the sole club with 5 points
Drop goals/missed goals, and scrum feeds
- 6 – Pau had the worst scrum-winning percentage of the weekend; just 40% on their own put-in
- 7 – Stade Francais recorded the first away victory for the new season
- 8 – Perpignan is currently sitting on zero% goal-kicking success rate. They had only one opportunity vs Stade and missed it!
- 9 – Camille Lopez is the only player to have scored a drop goal so far. In fact, he’s kicked two of them
- 10 – Toulon are the only side that had just one contributor to their final points tally; Enzo Herve notched all 15 RCT points

- 11 – Round 1 saw 15 Yellow Cards and 2 Red Cards dished out.
- 12 – La Rochelle had the highest total possession of any one team (70%), yet still lost to Montpellier.
- 13 – Oyonnax’s fly-half Jules Soulan leads the points tally with 21, followed very closely by Racing 92’s scrum-half Nolann Le Garrec on 20.
- 14 – Lyon are the only side to have secured a try scoring/offensive Bonus Point, having scored three more tries than their opponent (Toulon).
