The boys are back! ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod, bringing their own unique style to review another pulsating round of Six Nations fixtures, including that try at Twickenham.
There is more chat on the Premiership and Pro14 recommenced competition, while we ponder where Danny Cipriani be playing next year???
NatWest 6 Nations review
Enjoyable? Yeah definitely! 6 Nations ‘it is the best time of the year’. Agree? Well, then you will be enthralled as the ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod digest each contest.
First up in Dublin, it was a bittersweet win for Schmidt’s men. Tadhg fell at the first Furlong as the home side ran in eight tries against Italy. But, and that is an all might but…..they’ve lost Henshaw for the tournament.
Then down in the Twickenham rain, it was a kicking masterclass. In one of those stoic matches with no quarter given, both coaches seemed to goad the other, with the build-up just as delightful as the main contest was.
Wales fumed over the TMO no-go – hands up if Anscombe touched that down? (see main picture) however, in reality Farrell had them ‘over a barrel’.
Andy and Paddy then discuss the high-tempo SCOvFRA fixture. A mix of good and bad from each side. Teddy Thomas first gave everyone deja vu, with his thrilling skills and his joie de vivre.
TRY! SCO 7-17 FRA
There's being in-form and then there's @TeddyThoms… He chips over the top, gets the benefit of the bounce and dots down for his 2nd try of the game; Machenaud converets #SCOvFRA pic.twitter.com/ca0lNB9PPC— Guinness Six Nations (@SixNationsRugby) February 11, 2018
That was before Greig ‘Laid-down the Law’ as Scotland took the spoils in Edinburgh.
