‘In the Bin’ Rugby Pod – Season 1, Episode 10

Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby - Aviva Premiership

Another fantastic episode of ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod for you this week.

We return from our European tour to focus on domestic rugby in the UK & Ireland, as well as the start of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

Big Story Roundup

On this week’s show, we chat about a potential ‘Yarde sale’ at Quins and ‘a Zebo looking for pastures new’.

(You have Andy to thank for that terrible Zebo pun!)

Plenty of topics and results that need to be covered. Players are beginning to reach form now, with teams across the board all beginning to gel.

We will also discuss World Rugby’s endorsement of the South African bid for the 2023 World Cup. A controversial call, despite the best efforts to give everyone ‘transparency’.

Finally, we play ‘Last Word on Rugby head coach’ and debate the England, Ireland, Wales & Scottish squads for the upcoming Autumn Internationals.

Aviva Premiership

As the English sides returned home, Heinz means wins for Gloucester in a fierce derby against Bath. Worcester Lanced themselves in South London and it was ‘Mayday’ again for Tigers at a sold out Kingston Park.

Guinness Pro 14

Two big Irish derbies in the Pro 14, where Conway made way to allow Connacht to down Munster. The Ospreys took flight at last, and it was McGrath at the double for Leinster.

‘In the Bin’ Rugby Pod regular features

We had another difficult choice for try of the week with some belting tries again. ‘Hit of the week’ was bone shuddering and there was so much bin juice, it came out throughout the show!

Prediction Time

All level on the predictions last week between Andy and Paddy, with Zebre’s last gasp defeat spoiling an Irish win!

We go at it again with the Guinness Pro 14 & Anglo-Welsh Cup picks next week.
