Tucker White's been a fan of NASCAR since he was five years old. His passion for it, and auto racing in general, inspired him to pursue a career covering it. On the full-time NASCAR beat since 2016, he covered NASCAR and IndyCar for four years with SpeedwayMedia.com, and joined Last Word on Sports in January of 2020. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in December of 2020 to pursue a career in sports writing. As an alumnus of the University of Tennessee, and a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he's a diehard fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. Especially Tennessee football. If covering NASCAR doesn't kill him one day, watching Tennessee football will. He's also a fan of the Atlanta Braves, the Nashville Predators and the NFL.
