Formula E Liveries Ranking: The Best and Worst Looks for Season 11

Just a day before on-track action at the Sao Paulo E-Prix, Jaguar finally released their new look for the season. The grid is finally complete.

Here, LWOS ranks the Season 11 Formula E liveries.

Formula E Liveries Ranking From The Best To The Worst

PORSCHE: 10

Porsche opted for a complete change of look for Season 11. The team, which won the Season 10 Drivers’ Championship with Pascal Wehrlein, have dropped the red and black livery of the previous year.

Porsche chose a particular purple livery, after the success of their special look used in the Mexico City E-Prix. The vice-champions of the Season 10 Teams’ standings have one of the best liveries for the new season.

DS PENSKE: 9

DS Penske kept the colour palette of the Season 10 car, with gold and black being the main characters of the livery.

However, the Gen3-Evo car has a finer presence of gold, with the colour leading to the contours of the single-seater.

On the side pods, DS Penske applied a marbled effect, which gave the car an amazing look.

LOLA: 9

Lola is the new entry of the Season 11 paddock. The team took the place of ABT Motorsport, with the British team partnering with Yamaha.

Lola opted for a colourful livery, with blue and yellow as the predominant colours.

A big ‘Lola’ writing appears on one side pod of the car, while the other is painted in blue and reports the word ‘Yamaha’ – a great artistic choice by the team, which used the colours featured in the logo.

MASERATI: 9

Maserati presented its new car during pre-season testing in Madrid. As in previous seasons, the main colour is blue, but this year, the team chose to add a gold touch.

The back of the Gen-3 Evo is now painted in rose gold, which creates a great effect while the car is on track. On the inside, the most iconic Maserati wins are in writing, with the brand celebrating 110 years.

ENVISION: 8.5

Envision presented a new livery, where blue and green are the main characters.

The team have always been involved in the climate change fight and, as in Season 10, their Gen3-Evo car presents the Climate Straps. Envision positioned the graphic on the rear wing, after putting it on the front one during last season.

The livery is nice and colourful but lacks novelty.

NISSAN: 8.5

Nissan presented the traditional cherry blossom livery for Season 11. The Japanese team introduced this look in Season 9, and the fans loved it.

The car is painted red and white, with small flowers on the side pods. The team’s Season 11 look, however, lacks a bit of innovation.

JAGUAR: 8

Jaguar have been the last team to reveal its look for Season 11, after using a special livery for the pre-season test. The team opted for a similar livery to the one seen in Season 10, but there is a change.

Last year, the black side pod was halted by a white stripe. This year, the white line is braided with a golden one, in a pleasant combo.

The black takes a minor part in this year’s livery, with Jaguar choosing a brighter look.

MAHINDRA: 8

Mahindra presented a fresh new look, where red, black, and silver are the main characters. The red colour, always present in Mahindra liveries, is the main feature of the team.

The silver, which was present in a more invasive way on the Season 10 car, is now relegated to the back, while a pleasant dark shadow connects the red with the silver.

KIRO: 7.5

Formula E has welcomed a new team on the grid: Kiro Race Co. The brand took the place of ERT and is ready to debut in Season 11.

Kiro chose a yellow fluorescent livery, unmissable on track. The look isn’t complex but represents in the best way possible the latest addition of the paddock.

The team launches a statement with their new car: they demand to be seen.

ANDRETTI: 7

Andretti chose the safest option, keeping the livery very similar to the one proposed in Season 10. The colours of the livery reflect the ones used in the team’s logo: red, white, and blue.

The front section of the car is white, while from the side pods to the rear wing, red and blue are the main characters. It’s an enjoyable look.

However, the fans would have appreciated a bit of innovation.

MCLAREN: 6.5Β

McLaren presented a black and orange livery, the traditional colours of the team. The look is characterized by darker stripes that segment the car.

The look catches the eye of the observer, but there is doubt about how it will look while racing on the track.
