Campos Racing Looks to Shine on Home Ground in Barcelona

Campos Racing heads to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for Round 5 of the 2025 F3 season with one clear objective: deliver a strong result on home ground. After their strong performance in Monte Carlo, expectations are high. Tsolov dominated last week’s Feature Race. Can he keep up the momentum?

Home Ground, High Stakes: Campos Racing Looks to Shine in Barcelona

The Campos Racing team arrives in Barcelona after two demanding weekends in Imola and Monte Carlo. Both tracks tested nerve and discipline. Now comes a different kind of challenge, with a different strategic approach.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya may be known territory for the drivers, but it is no less demanding. With its combination of long, high-speed curves, tricky braking zones and abrasive tarmac, the track has a way of exposing even the smallest weaknesses in setup or strategy. Tyre degradation is a known threat. Grip can disappear in the final laps. Those who manage their resources best will thrive.

Local Power, National Pride

Three drivers will represent Campos Racing in front of their home crowd, and as mentioned before, expectations are high.

Leading the charge is Mari Boya, who has the home crowd backing him after his podium finish in Monaco. He will now return to the same circuit, where he claimed his maiden F3 victory in 2024. His performances have grown stronger as the season progresses. A top-five finish is within reach. A podium finish? Possible – and in front of his fans, he will be more motivated than ever.

Tsolov, who delivered a strong pace by dominating Sunday’s race in Monaco, heads to the Catalan circuit as a top contender. He controlled the race most of the time and also set the fastest lap, which landed him third in the drivers’ standings with 61 points.

Inthraphuvasak started strong into the season in Melbourne, qualifying seventh before finishing fourth in the Sprint Race and seventh in the Feature Race. Campos Racing currently sits second in the teams’ standings with 106 points.

Eyes on the Prize

Team Principal Adrián Campos knows exactly what’s required:

“We are having a fantastic year in FIA Formula 3, and our goal is to keep the momentum going in Barcelona, which is also the team´s home race. As always, everyone is extremely motivated, but racing in front of your home crowd gives you an extra edge. That´s the case for Mari [Boya], who just stepped on the podium in Monaco and already knows what it´s like to win here.

Nikola [Tsolov] claimed his second win just a few days ago, and given how strong we´ve always been in Barcelona, I believe all three of our drivers – including Tasanapol [Inthraphuvasak]- can fight at the front.” – Team Principal Adrián Campos.

The field is tightly packed. Campos Racing is not just looking to score – they are aiming to stand out. With home support, proven experience and three motivated drivers behind the wheel, the ingredients are all there. It is time to turn potential into performance.

Barcelona is calling. And Campos is ready to answer.
