LSU Gets Todd Harris To Stay Home

Todd Harris committed to LSU and with that head coach Ed Orgeron got his second safety ranked in the top 100 recruits and got his second safety from the state of Louisiana.

Harris is 6-0, 183 pound four-star recruit. His high ranking comes from having great closing speed. He also played cornerback in high school, but Orgeron recruited him to play safety in Baton Rouge. He was also one of the top kick returners in the league.

Harris had it narrowed down to LSU, Alabama and TCU. At his signing ceremony this morning, he said, To me it was the opportunity to stay in state and be a Tiger. It was a tough decision but at the end of the day it was the right choice for me.”
