Jeremiah Payton Signs Early With Miami

The Miami Hurricanes have officially added their highest rated commitment of the 2019 class. Jeremiah Payton hails from Neptune Beach and will be making the trip down to Coral Gables soon. After losing Jeff Thomas and Ahmon Richards this season, Miami will welcome add a nationally top 100 player to their receiving core.

Jeremiah Payton Enrolling Early

Payton is the number 11 rated player in all of Florida. He had several offers including Alabama, Louisville, and Georgia Tech, and Florida. He had 22 offers in all. Payton will play his final high school game in the Under Armour All-American game in Orlando in January, before enrolling at Miami.

Payton will compete for playing time immediately as Miami will return a young group of receivers. The Fletcher high school product will give the Hurricanes a polished route runner. He already has a developed ability to separate against coverage. Standing at six foot three also adds to the versatility that Payton brings and benefits Miami in the red zone.

About Hebreu Maxis

My name is pronounced just like the book in the Bible (Hebrew) but someone at the hospital decided to replace the W, with a U. I am 23 years old at the moment, I am also a recent graduate of Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, TN. I am a South Florida native, more specifically Pompano Beach, Florida. I remember watching Sean Taylor's highlights on the news in 2003 and it was a wrap after that, my obsession with the game began. I'm always looking to connect with others who share a love for the sport so feel free to reach out.
