Vanderbilt’s Early Enrollee: Dimitri Moore

College football national letter of intent day is approaching rapidly. However there is the possibility for some athletes, who have graduated high school, to enroll early and get a semester of college under their belts.  This locks them into their school, but more importantly makes them eligible to practice with the team, and to be part of the spring football program.  Its a leg up for some young, talented players.

The Vanderbilt Commodores, have taken advantage of this provision, bringing in an early enrollee. Here is a look at a profile of this young man.

Vanderbilt’s Early Enrollee: Dimitri Moore

Vanderbilt has added early graduate Dimitri Moore. He is a 6’3″, 205 pound inside linebacker from Cedar Hill High in Cedar Hill, TX.  Moore had an impressive high school career as he racked up the stats. He had over 160 tackles, 25 for loss, as well as 14 sacks. Seven different ‘Dores had playing time at its two inside linebacker spots in 2016. The three-star prospect will have a chance to make an impact with the departure of Zach Cunningham. Moore will get some extra time to learn Mason’s 3-4 defense as he goes thru spring ball. He will also get the benefits of summer workouts. Moore is currently enrolled at Vanderbilt for the spring semester.
