LWOS College Football Podcast #5: Week 2 Preview

Week One was supposed to be the best opening weekend ever. It lived up to that billing for the most part. The encore? Certainly, not the greatest. Most of the top teams are playing their “buy games.” But that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few quality games. The Holy War? Check. The Battle at Bristol? Yes, please. Whatever you call Wake Forest vs Duke? Sure, if you are into that sort of thing. (By the way, don’t worry, Week Three will make up for it.)

Last Word on Sports staff writer Connor Ferguson joins Austin to preview Week 2 of the College Football Season. Which Pac-12 After Dark game excites your interests the most? Can Iowa State keep it close in the Cy-Hawk series? Can Washington State rebound from a loss to Eastern Washington? All that and more on this week’s preview podcast. In order, we preview: Louisville vs Syracuse, NC State vs East Carolina, Penn State vs Pittsburgh, Kentucky vs Florida, Wake Forest vs Duke, UConn vs Navy, Arkansas vs TCU, South Carolina vs Mississippi State, North Carolina vs Illinois, BYU vs Utah, Iowa State vs Iowa, Virginia Tech vs Tennessee, Texas Tech vs Arizona State, Washington State vs Boise State, Virginia vs Oregon, and Cal vs San Diego State.
