Amanda Anisimova US Open

US Open Best Bets Including Naomi Osaka vs Amanda Anisimova

It’s time for the US Open semifinals. Both matches will be covered here, and we will also have coverage for the final. This tournament has been full of surprises and impressive performances. Has anyone impressed you? What were some of your favorite performances thus far? Let us know in the comments, and yours just may feature in an upcoming article. Here are the best bets for the semifinal matches.

WTA U.S. Open

Sabalenka – Pegula: Time 01:00

H2H: 7-2

Jessica Pegula is 7-2 lifetime against Aryna Sabalenka, and two of those matches were in a Major. Most notably, one of them came in the final of this very tournament in 2024. While Pegula put up a strong fight, Sabalenka took the match in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5. Pegula is 7-3 entering this match, and Sabalenka is 8-2, but all of Sabalenka’s losses came in the quarterfinals or later. Pegula’s losses all came in the third round or the round of 16. Both ladies are extremely proficient on a hardcourt, but Sabalenka is having the better overall year on every surface.

Best Bet to Make

Sabalenka is a strong favorite in this match. Many of the books see her as a 3-1 favorite, sometimes even stronger. My personal favorite value bet for this match is Sabalenka winning 2:0 on Interwetten. At 1.95, you can nearly double your bet, and many of the books feel like this line is even more likely since Sabalenka had only played six total games of her match before Vondrousova walked over and retired from injury. Pegula has played a lot of tennis this tournament, and Sabalenka normally has her way with this opponent.

That being said, Sabalenka winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Sabalenka winning 2:0 @1.95 @Betsfair

Osaka– Anisimova: Time 02:30

H2H: 2-2

Amanda Anisimova has two prior wins over Naomi Osaka, and both of them were in a Major. Anisimova took their 2023 first-round match in the French Open in straight sets, but their 2022 Australian Open third-round match went three sets and a tiebreak. Both ladies had equal opportunities to win the match. Osaka is 9-1 entering the match, and Anisimova is 8-2. That doesn’t mean anything to the bookies, though.

Best Bet to Make

Though it’s not by very much, the books have Osaka as the favorite. Osaka has been playing some of her best tennis in this tournament, and she’s already won here before. Anisimova is still chasing her first Major win, and though she was able to beat Iga Swiatek to make the semifinals, that’s not the same as winning a final in a Major. I agree with Osaka being the favorite in this match, and the best value for her is Betway offering 1.80 straight up.

That being said, Osaka winning is a value bet for sure.
