ATP Kitzbuhel Day 3 Predictions
Filip Misolic vs Botic van de Zandschulp
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Botic van de Zandschulp hasn’t quite had the 2025 season like he would have wanted to. The Dutchman has failed to make any impression over the last three weeks post Wimbledon. While he did play a decent match in his first round here, he faces home favourite Filip Misolic who has had a decent year so far. The Austrian beat the fifth ranked player this week and does look in a better touch to continue his showing of good results.
Prediction: Misolic in 3
Marton Fucsovics vs Alexander Shevchenko
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Marton Fucsovics is playing his first tournament post Wimbledon where the Hungarian reached the third round. He had to fight in his first-round match and his next opponent, Alexander Shevchenko will not make things any easier for him. Shevchenko is an exciting talent but does lack the experience compared to the Hungarian. Expect a tight battle but Fucsovics does look stronger from the baseline.
Prediction: Fucsovics in 3
Francisco Comesana vs Arthur Cazaux
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Both players coincidently lost last week in Gstaad to the eventual champion Alexander Bublik. Francisco Comesana lost in the quarter-finals while Arthur Cazaux in the semi-finals. This should be an interesting battle between two young players trying to find their feet on the main tour. Expect Cazaux to get more free points on his serve but Comesana right now looks more assured on the clay.
Prediction: Comesana in 2
Sebastian Baez vs Yannick Hanfmann
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Sebastian Baez is back on the clay courts where he likes it the most. The Argentine is seeded second this week and should be one of the favourites to reach the final. His first assignment this week is against Yannick Hanfmann who hasn’t won a main draw match since April in Munich before winning one this week. Expect Baez to struggle in the first half of the match but the clay courts should provide him time to find his rhythm.
Prediction: Baez in 3
