Arthur Rinderknech has lost four of his last five matches. Arthur had a tough first-round draw two weeks ago at the Australian Open. He lost against Tiafoe in five tight sets, as we predicted. Last week in Montpellier, Arthur lost in the second round against Basilashvili, as we had predicted. It was a solid preparation tournament for Dallas, as the conditions were almost identical. It is his first appearance in Dallas. Last year, Arthur decided to play in Rotterdam, where he failed to qualify for the main draw tournament.

According to the bookies, Rinderknech is the big underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. He has a solid serve and enjoys playing on indoor hard courts. We believe that with his serve, Arthur will keep this match tight.
