Rovereto Challenger Best Bets Including Prizmic vs Maestrelli

Dino Prizmic Australian Open

Rovereto Challenger quarterfinals

Prihodko – Nardi: 22.11.2024 14:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Oleg Prihodko has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Lyon, Prihodko reached the 1/8-Finals as a qualifier, where he was stopped by Hemery in three tight sets. Here in Italy, Oleg also successfully qualified for the main-draw tournament, winning both of his qualifying matches in straight sets. In the first main-draw round, Oleg defeated Karol in straight sets. Prihodko served well throughout the whole match, and was great under pressure. Today, in the 1/8-Finals, Prihodko defeated Mikrut in straight sets as we predicted. The Ukrainian is slowly but surely transferring from the ITF level to the challenger level.

Luca Nardi has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Lyon, Nardi lost his opening match against Blanchet in straight sets. Here in Rovereto, Luca won his opening round match against Fonio in three sets. After losing the first set, the Italian stepped up his level, and turned the match around. Today, in the 1/8-Finals, Nardi was dominant from the very start of the match, and ended up winning the match in easy straight sets. He offered and saved only one breakpoint.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Prihodko is the big underdog in this matchup. Oleg has served well so far this week, and we believe that he will continue in that fashion. Both players are heavy hitters, so we expect this match to be very tight.

That being said, Prihodko covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Prizmic – Maestrelli: 22.11.2024 19:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Dino Prizmic has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Lyon, Dino lost his opening match against Mayot in straight sets. Dino missed a lot of tournaments this season due to his constant injuries. We all know how well he played at the beginning of the season, when he won the second set at the Australian Open against Novak Djokovic. Prizmic is one of the most talented players on the tour right now, and he is just hoping to stay fit, and get into the top 100 in the rankings. Here in Rovereto, Dino won his opening round match against Sachko in straight sets. After that, in the 1/8-Finals, Prizmic won against Coric in three tight sets as we predicted.

Francesco Maestrelli has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Lyon, Maestrelli failed to qualify for the main-draw tournament. Here in Rovereto, Maestrelli upset Herbert in the first round, winning in straight sets. After that, in the second round of the tournament, Maestrelli defeated Agwi after spending almost three hours on the court.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Prizmic is the favorite in this match, and we agree with that. Borna won two solid matches, and he is looking fit on the court yet again. We believe that he is way more talented than Maestrelli, and that he will win this match easily.

That being said, Prizmic covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Dino Prizmic -3.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365
