ATP US Open Best Bets Including Rublev vs Seyboth Wild

Andrey Rublev Australian Open

ATP US Open 1/64-Finals

Rublev – Seyboth Wild: 26.08.2024 18:30 CEST
H2H: 1-0

Andrey Rublev has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Cincinnati, Rublev lost in the quarterfinals against Sinner in three tight sets as we predicted. A week before that, Andrey reached the final in Montreal, when he lost against Popyrin in straight sets. Those two solid performances gave him much needed self-confidence coming into this week. So far in his career, Rublev has played 10 Grand Slam quarterfinals with a losing 0-10 record. However, he performed well at the opening stages of the Grand Slams. Last year in New York, Rublev lost against Medvedev in the quarterfinals.

Thiago Seyboth Wild has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Winston-Salem, Thiago lost against Tien in the 1/8-Finals of the tournament. Being a Brazilian, Seyboth spent most of his time playing on the clay courts. Thiago won the boys´ US Open title in 2018. However, he is yet to win a main-draw match at the US Open. Last year in New York, Seyboth Wild lost in the second qualifying round against Kolar in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Rublev is the big favorite in this matchup. Andrey is in great form, and overall a better hard-court player than Seyboth Wild. Rublev will be confident coming into this match, so we believe that he will dominate from the very start.

That being said, Rublev covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Ruud – Bu: 26.08.2024 18:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Casper Ruud has lost three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Cincinnati, Casper lost against Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. It was overall a poor performance from Ruud. This was his least favorite part of the season. He always delivers on clay, but usually disappoints on the faster hard courts. However, Casper reached the final here at the US Open in 2022, when he fought for his maiden Grand Slam title and world number 1 spot. Eventually, Casper failed against Alcaraz, but had a great tournament overall. Last year at the US Open, Ruud lost in the second round against Zhang in five sets.

Yunchaokete Bu has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Lincoln, Bu reached the semifinals at the challenger tour level, losing against Fearnley in three sets. Here in New York, Bu fought successfully through the qualifying tournament. He won the first two qualifying rounds in straight sets. In the final qualifying round, Bu upset Karatsev in three tight sets. This will be his first Grand Slam appearance.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Ruud is the big favorite in this matchup. We spent a lot of time playing at the challenger tour level recently, and had some very solid results. On the other hand, Ruud has been struggling with his form recently. We believe that Bu will keep this match tight.

That being said, Bu covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Yunchaokete Bu +5.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365
