Carlos Alcaraz in action ahead of the Paris Olympics.

ATP French Open quarterfinals

Dimitrov – Sinner: 04.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 1-3

Grigor Dimitrov has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago, Dimitrov lost in the 1/8-Finals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome against Fritz in three sets. Before that, Dimitrov was upset by Mensik in Madrid where he lost in three sets against him. So far in Paris, Dimitrov has not had any major problems. Grigor defeated Kovacevic in straight sets in the first round. After that, Grigor won against Marozsan in straight sets as well. In the third round, Dimitrov lost the third set against Bergs, but managed to win the match in four tight sets. Yesterday, Dimitrov won against Hurkacz in straight sets as we predicted. Grigor looked comfortable on the court and had overall a very solid performance.

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. So far in Paris, Jannik has only lost one set. In the first round, Sinner won against Eubanks in straight sets. After that, Sinner won his second round match against Gasquet in straight sets as well. In the third round, Kotov stood no chance against the in-form Sinner, who defeated him in three sets. Yesterday, Sinner lost the first set against Moutet. However, after that, Sinner looked unstoppable yet again and lost only 6 games in the last three sets. Although his French Open appearance was under question mark due to an injury, Sinner looks fit and ready.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Dimitrov is a huge underdog in this matchup. Sinner usually plays his best tennis on fast surfaces. Throughout his career, Sinner never had any great results on clay. We believe that in-form Dimitrov will keep this match tight.

That being said, Dimitrov covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Tsitsipas – Alcaraz: 04.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 0-5

Stefanos Tsitsipas has won four of his last five matches. Stefanos is one of the biggest favorites to win the French Open this year. Two weeks ago, Tsitsipas was defeated by Jarry in the quarterfinals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome. Here in Paris, Tsitsipas won his first round against Fucsovics in three sets. After that, Stefanos won in four sets against Altmaier, but dominated throughout the match as we predicted. In the third round, Tsitsipas had it easy against Zhang. His biggest challenge was yesterday against Arnaldi. Stefanos was on the verge of losing the second set. However, Tsitsipas kept his composure and turned the match around.

Carlos Alcaraz has won four of his last five matches. In his first round match, Alcaraz only lost 4 games against J.J. Wolf. He was dominant from the very start. After that, Alcaraz was struggling against De Jong, winning the match in four tight sets. In the third and fourth round, Carlos dominated against Korda and Auger-Aliassime, winning both matches in straight sets. Last year in Paris, Alcaraz lost against Novak Djokovic in the semifinal.

Best Bet to Make

Carlos Alcaraz looks unstoppable on the court right now. Stefanos Tsitsipas had some ups and downs throughout the tournament. Looking at the head-to-head meetings, Alcaraz won every single match. Last year in Paris, Alcaraz won against Tsitsipas in three easy sets. We expect a similar performance from him this year as well.

That being said, Alcaraz covering the games handicap is a value bet.
