ATP French Open Best Bets Including Dimitrov vs Hurkacz

Grigor Dimitrov in action ahead of the French Open.

ATP French Open 1/8-Finals

Hurkacz – Dimitrov: 02.06.2024 18:00 CEST
H2H: 0-5

Hubert Hurkacz has won four of his last five matches. Even though he does not love to play on clay, Hurkacz has had a decent clay court season so far this year. Two weeks ago, Hurkacz reached the quarterfinals in Rome where he lost against Tommy Paul in three sets. In the first round, Hurkacz won his first round match against Mochizuki. It was a rough match for Hurkacz as he was trailing 1-2 in sets. Hubert was just making way too many unforced errors and was not consistent at all throughout the match. After that, Hubert won the second and third round matches in four sets against Nakashima and Shapovalov. Last year in Paris, Hurkacz lost in the third round against Varillas in five sets.

Grigor Dimitrov has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago, Dimitrov lost in the 1/8-Finals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome against Fritz in three sets. Before that, Dimitrov was upset by Mensik in Madrid where he lost in three sets against him. So far in Paris, Dimitrov has not had any major problems. Grigor defeated Kovacevic in straight sets in the first round. After that, Grigor won against Marozsan in straight sets as well. Yesterday, Dimitrov lost the third set against Bergs, but managed to win the match in four tight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. However, we believe that Dimitrov is a better clay court player than Hurkacz. Looking at the head-to-head meetings, Dimitrov is leading 5-0, which is very important.

That being said, Dimitrov winning is a value bet.

Moutet – Sinner: 02.06.2024 20:15 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Corentin Moutet has won three of his last five matches. At his home slam, Moutet did pretty well so far, losing only two sets in the first two rounds. In the first round, Moutet won against Jarry in four easy sets. He did well under pressure and has played overall a solid match. In the second round, Moutet won against Shevchenko yet again in four sets. Once again, Moutet had only one set where he was completely lost. However, he kept his focus for most of the time and won in the end. Two days ago, Moutet won in four sets against Ofner, who was obviously tired as we predicted. This was his best result at the French Open.

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. So far in Paris, Jannik has not lost a single set. In the first round, Sinner won against Eubanks in straight sets. After that, Sinner won his second round match against Gasquet in straight sets as well. Two days ago, Kotov stood no chance against the in-form Sinner, who defeated him in three sets. Although his French Open appearance was under question mark due to an injury, Sinner looks fit and ready.

Best Bet to Make

Jannik Sinner is one of the best players in the world right now. We believe that Moutet will have no chance in this match. His ground strokes are not good enough to do any damage to Sinner.

That being said, Sinner winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jannik Sinner winning 3-0 @1.62 @bet365
