Her opponent, Andreeva, is also a young Russian prodigy. She reached the quarter-final at Charleston last week. That was also her last match when she lost in straight sets to Wang in Charleston. The bookies are favoring Andreeva big time tonight. We believe that Avanesyan is really talented and has a lot to say. If she can handle the pressure, she has a decent chance of winning this match. She has a lot of points to defend and if she does not do it, she might be out of the top 100 rankings. Her opponent, Timofeeva, also did not play her best tennis last month. However, she absolutely dominated in the qualification rounds in Miami. She won both qualification matches 6-2 6-1. She showed promising tennis and looks ready for the main draw. Timofeeva is not that experienced, but we still strongly believe that she is a better player than Gracheva at the moment. That being said, Timofeeva to cover games handicap line is a value bet!

Tatjana Maria lost her last match in Indian Wells to Paolini in straight sets. Before that, Maria was not really consistent. Her opponent, Arango, had to fight throughout the qualifications to get into the main tournament. Arango won both of her matches in three sets. She has spent almost 6 hours already on the court. The court in Miami is really fast this year. Alcaraz, Medvedev and many other players have said that. Maria is a perfect server and heavy hitter and that goes in her favor. Considering how much time Arango has spent on the court already, we believe that Maria will be a big favorite tonight! Maria is also a way more experienced player playing on such a big stage. That being said, Maria winning is a value bet!
