ATP Den Bosch Day 4 Predictions Including Sam Querrey vs Brandon Nakashima

Sam Querrey Queen's

Day 4 at Den Bosch will see plenty of exciting ATP action, including defending champion Adrian Mannarino, former Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey, and reigning Indian Wells champion Taylor Fritz. It’s a very stacked draw for an ATP 250 event and it should provide plenty of excitement.

ATP Den Bosch Day 3 Predictions

Adrian Mannarino vs Alex De Minaur

Head-to-head: De Minaur 1-0 Mannarino

This is another case of an overall better player going up against a grass specialist; Mannarino is the defending champion at this tournament but De Minaur is no slouch on grass and will be a huge obstacle to overcome if he’s to defend his title. De Minaur has already proved his worth on this surface, with a title in Eastbourne last year and will be looking to shine on the surface again.
Prediction: De Minaur in 3

Taylor Fritz vs Tim Van Rijthoven

Head-to-head: first meeting

Fritz achieved his career best result earlier this year in Indian Wells, but his season has perhaps predictably tailed off since. He has shown some good ability to play on grass in previous years, however, and a theoretically easy matchup against the world #205 seems to be just what the doctor ordered to gain some momentum ahead of Wimbledon.  Rijthoven did beat a decent grasscourt player Ebden, however, showing that he should not be underestimated, especially playing at home.
Prediction: Fritz in 2

Sam Querrey vs Brandon Nakashima

Head-to-head: Nakashima 1-0 Querrey

There’s no question that both players are on different paths right now. Nakashima is trending up while Querrey seems headed for retirement. However, grass is a very specific surface and Querrey has far more experience and pedigree on it, which is enough to level up the playing field here. Even in a terrible 2021 season, Querrey reached the final in Mallorca and the semifinal in Stuttgart and he’ll surely be looking to save his season on grass again in 2022.
Prediction: Querrey in 2
