The 2021 ATP Cup will be held a week before this year’s first Grand Slam. The tournament consist of 12 countries who will be represented by their highest ranked players according to their ATP Rankings. This year, 12 of the top 13 ranked players will be attending this event. furthermore, the event will be held in Melbourne Park instead of various cities in Australia. Here are the draws for each group.
2021 ATP Cup
Group A
This is probably the most toughest and evenly group of the four. It will have the reigning champions Serbia, who will be led by World No. 1 Novak Djokovic. Also, the group will have Germany, led by Alexander Zverev. Lastly, team Canada is the other team that is in this group, and will be led by Denis Shapovalov.
Clearly it will be a tough test for Djokovic from the beginning, as he has Zverev and Shapovalov in his group. It will not be an easy task for team Serbia as the other two teams have great competitive players in their ranks.
Group B
Headlining this group is team Spain, who will be led by World No.2 Rafael Nadal. Spain will look to once again head to the final and this time win it all. Although, it will not be easy as they will face team Greece. Stefanos Tsitsipas will lead Greece and will look to have a great performance in the tournament. Lastly, the hosts team, Australia, is in this group and led by Alex De Minaur. Importantly, Nick Kyrgios will not be in team Australia this year since he is not one of the highest seeded players in his country due to the fact he has not played a tournament since the Australian Open last year.
Group C
Team Austria will be commanded by Dominic Thiem, who will try to have a better performance than last year. Thiem only won one match of the three that he played last year and saw his team not advancing to the next stage. Italy is in this group, led by Matteo Berrettini, who will be happy to lead a great team. Also, team France is in this group and led by veteran Gael Monfils.
Group D
Team Russia is the strongest team in this group as they have two top ten players in their team. They are led by World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev and World No. 8 Andrey Rublev. This group is the only one that has three top ten players, as World No.9 Diego Schwartzman leads the Argentinian team. Lastly, Japan is commanded by veteran Kei Nishikori ,who is currently World No.41.

On Day 1 Serbia will play first against Canada, which means we can see Djokovic facing off against Shapovalov. Austria start their opening match against Italy, so we can expect a match between Thiem and Berrettini. In the night session Spain will play against hosts Australia. This means we can expect Nadal to play against De Minaur. Last but not least, Russia will face against Argentina. This means we can see Medvedev versus Schwartzman.

Quality Tennis In The ATP Cup
In its second year, the ATP Cup will see the best players from their respective countries compete in single and double matches. The best of the best will represent their countries and battle it out for glory. No doubt this is a great way to start off their season and be prepared for the Australian Open. It will be interesting to see if Serbia can repeat what they did last year in which Djokovic took over and led them to glory.
