ATP Wimbledon quarterfinals continue on Wednesday. Flavio Cobolli made the final at Roland-Garros, and it seemed he would be too tired at Wimbledon to do much of anything. However, Cobolli has won a few more extended matches at this tournament. He then managed to win in straight sets as a moneyline underdog against Alex De Minaur. He’s in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, enjoying the best season of his career. He takes on British hope Arthur Fery, who scored a rousing five-set win over Grigor Dimitrov. We would preview both men’s quarterfinals, but Alexander Zverev’s Round of 16 match against Jiri Lehecka was postponed late Monday night and resumed on Tuesday, so there aren’t posted odds yet for the other quarterfinal match on Wednesday. The ATP Wimbledon quarterfinals continue with Flavio Cobolli facing Arthur Fery. The ATP Wimbledon men’s tournament now has a player who literally resides in Wimbledon as a quarterfinalist. Arthur Fery lives in Wimbledon, and now he gets to play a quarterfinal on famed Centre Court against Cobolli, the French Open finalist who has surprisingly been able to regroup and win four matches at the All-England Club. Fery was down two sets to one and down a break in the fourth set. He was two games away from losing to Grigor Dimitrov. However, Fery broke Dimitrov’s serve twice and was able to win the fourth set 6-4. He then fought through 12 games and got to a fifth-set match tiebreak, which he won to pull off the upset and advance at his home tournament. Cobolli won a five-set match against Karen Khachanov late last week. He has played a lot of tennis and spent a lot of time on court, but he was then able to beat Alex De Minaur in just three sets in the Round of 16. Cobolli is playing the best tennis of his life.
Best Bet to Make
Cobolli moneyline isn’t great value as a single bet, but it can certainly be thrown into a parlay. You can start there. When thinking about how to bet this match, consider the point that Cobolli was able to win his most recent match in three sets. He finally played a shorter match. That might give him enough rest and relief that he can regroup for the Fery match. Fery is playing his best tennis, but Fery’s best tennis is not as good as Cobolli’s best tennis. With Cobolli finally playing a shorter-length match, Cobolli should be in position to play reasonably well. Therefore, expecting Cobolli to win in four sets (not five) makes sense. The price for that outcome is very reasonable. It’s the logical play to make.
That being said, betting on Cobolli -1.5 sets is a value bet for sure.

Fritz – Zverev: 9:30 EST

These two players have played a lot of times. They have met 16 times, to be exact. Taylor Fritz has won the past eight times he has played Alexander Zverev. He hasn’t lost since 2024 in Rome, just over two full years ago. These matches aren’t blowouts, but Fritz usually finds a way to win. The real question here is if Zverev, as a result of winning Roland-Garros, will play with added confidence, now that he has a major championship and is no longer burdened by the lack of a truly big achievement. Fritz is a really good player, but he’s still not a great returner of serve. Fritz wins a lot of tiebreak sets on grass and depends on his serve to win. If Zverev wins a tiebreak instead of Fritz, that could be all the German needs to finally turn the tables in this ATP Wimbledon quarterfinal.
Best Bet to Make
You could sprinkle a small amount of money on this match going over 4.5 sets. You could bet over the total number of games if that number is anything below 40 games. There will probably be at least 40 games in this match because sets are likely to have at least 10 games (6-4 or longer). However, the best bet to make on this match is the simplest one. Fritz moneyline is priced just below 2.00. That’s pretty good value for a guy who has won the last eight times he and Zverev have played each other. It’s also good value since Zverev doesn’t need this match as much as Fritz does. Zverev has his major title. Fritz does not and is trying to make his first ATP Wimbledon final. Fritz moneyline makes plenty of sense. Go for it.
That being said, betting on Fritz winning is a value bet for sure.
