ATP Queen’s Club Day 2 Predictions Including Jakub Mensik vs Adrian Mannarino

An impressive 12 matches are on the schedule at the HSBC Championships at Queen’s Club on Tuesday, with all of the top seeds ready to debut at the ATP 500 grass court event. LWOT has the preview for all of the matchups, with this set of predictions featuring Jakub Mensik.

ATP Queen’s Club Day 2 Predictions

Ignacio Buse vs Marcos Giron

Head-to-head: First meeting

Buse is near a career-high ranking of No. 31 in the world, as the Peruvian will have to adapt to grass courts for the first time in his career. Giron hasn’t had the best season, but the American is a strong volleyer, and fast mover on the slick London courts. Look for Giron to win in a close match, having the bigger serves and weapons at the tail end.
Prediction: Giron in 3

Brandon Nakashima vs Marton Fucsovics

Head-to-head: Nakashima 1-0

Both players have aggressive games, but Nakashima is achieving far more success in 2026. Fucsovics has the heavier topspin on his groundstrokes, but that style might not work against an all-court player like Nakashima. The American won 7-5 6-3 in their only career meeting last fall in Tokyo, and look for him to cruise into the second round. Nakashima has a strong 30-19 career record on grass courts.
Prediction: Nakashima in 2

Arthur Rinderknech vs Hamad Medjedovic

Head-to-head: 1-1

Rinderknech has a losing record on grass courts career-wise, but the Frenchman’s powerful game can always translate well to courts like these. Three years ago, he nearly stunned Carlos Alcaraz at this very tournament. The Frenchman won the pair’s latest meeting via retirement, but Medjedovic won 6-3 7-6 (9) during their first meeting at the ATP 250 in Winston-Salem. Rinderknech has had the steadier season, and he’s due for a big run on grass. His big serve could be the difference in this match.
Prediction: Rinderknech in 3

Jakub Mensik vs Adrian Mannarino

Head-to-head: First meeting

Mannarino won three matches at the Libema Open last week, falling to Alex de Minaur in the semifinals. He’s always a dangerous opponent to face on grass courts, but the turnaround could be tough against a strong player like Mensik. The Czech is playing his first match since a stunning French Open semifinal run, and he should have momentum to keep going on faster courts, where he tends to thrive. Mannarino should push this match into a third set, with his funky game and Mensik’s potential rust.
Prediction: Mensik in 3
