Alex de Minaur is chasing his second title at ATP Den Bosch, while Kamil Majchrzak will contest to win his first ATP title. Who will win the 2026 Libema Open in ‘s-Hertogenbosch?
ATP Den Bosch Final Prediction
Alex de Minaur vs Kamil Majchrzak
Head-to-head: de Minaur 2-0 Majchrzak
Alex de Minaur overcame a slow start in overcast weather to beat Adrian Mannarino in straight sets and reach his second career final at ATP Den Bosch. The Australian trailed 2-4 in the opening set but reeled off 10 games in a row to turn the match on its head. This victory was his 22nd of the season. de Minaur had earlier beaten Martin Damm and Benjamin Bonzi without dropping a set.
He was the champion on his last visit in 2024. And having captured the Rotterdam Open back in February, de Minaur could become just the second man to win both Dutch ATP Tour events in the same season after Richard Krajicek almost three decades ago.
Kamil Majchrzak, meanwhile, stunned a fatigued Daniil Medvedev to reach his first ATP final at age 30. Majcharzak has undoubtedly been the story of the week at ATP Den Bosch. Before the semifinals, he scored the best win of his career by downing top seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. Majchrzak’s run did not emerge entirely out of nowhere. The Pole had a solid week at the Birmingham Challenger, reaching the semifinals before losing to Otto Virtanen. He avenged that loss against the same opponent in the first round of the Libema Open.
It should be an intriguing final as Majchrzak walks into this match brimming with confidence. But he faces one of the most technically astute players on this surface. de Minaur has learned to navigate the nuances of grass better than most players on tour, and since 2021, he has finished every season with a positive win-loss record on the lawns.
The Australians’ elite movement and excellent decision-making could prove decisive. And if he can sustain the level he has shown throughout the week, he should have enough to prevail over an inspired Majchrzak.
Prediction: de Minaur in 3
