ATP Geneva Quarterfinal Predictions Including Alexander Bublik vs Arthur Rinderknech

The 2026 ATP Geneva Open sees just eight men remaining in contention for the trophy. Top seeds have made their way and will battle young hopefuls in what promises to be a fantastic day of tennis. As ever, we preview and predict all the quarterfinal matches for you, including Casper Ruud versus Alexei Popyrin.

Alex Michelsen vs Learner Tien

Head-to-head – Michelsen 3-1 Tien

Alex Michelsen came through a tough battle against Stan Wawrinka, winning the Round of 16 in two tiebreakers. The 21-year-old American has risen through the rankings rapidly, similar to his next opponent, Learner Tien. These two have faced each other four times before, with Michelsen winning three. This match has all the ingredients to be a long and interesting one since Michelsen has a great first strike tennis game style while Tien loves to defend and is as tenacious as they get. Both players have looked good this week but the way Tien took down Stefanos Tsitsipas serving eight aces en route to victory suggests the fourth seed is feeling the ball pretty well especially on his serve.
Prediction: Tien in 3

Alexander Bublik vs Arthur Rinderknech

Head-to-head – Bublik 1-2 Rinderknech

Alexander Bublik  hasn’t quite had the clay court season he would’ve liked so far in 2026, but the Kazakh is capable of switching it on very quickly and he will be hoping this week will be a catalyst for a good French Open. Arthur Rinderknech has justified the fifth seed tag this week by reaching the last eight as the Frenchman has looked pretty solid in the two matches he has played here. Rinderknech will no doubt be very tough to break serve and despite Bublik carrying more variety in his overall game, the slightly faster courts of Geneva favor Rinderknech.
Prediction: Rinderknech in 3
