US Open Best Bets Including Amanda Anisimova vs Beatriz Haddad Maia

It’s time for the US Open round of 16. There are only two matches left for this round, so pardon me for only having two bets. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments. You can also leave a comment for me. Thanks, and let’s get into the action.

WTA U.S. Open

Alexandrova – Swiatek: Time 19:00

H2H: 2-4

Ekaterina Alexandrova doesn’t have a winning record against Iga Swiatek, but what she does have are two wins in three of their hardcourt matches. That also includes a recent win in 2024 at WTA Miami. Swiatek has four wins over Alexandrova, including their match earlier this year at WTA Bad Homburg. Swiatek won the Cincinnati tournament that took place right before the US Open, and she won Wimbledon three tournaments ago. Alexandrova has one tournament win in 2025, and it happened at an indoor event in February.

Best Bet to Make

Alexandrova has the skillset to beat Swiatek, but the US Open is a different beast. Not only is Alexandrova yet to make it past the third round of the US Open in general, but she also hasn’t done so for a Major this year. Swiatek is playing phenomenal tennis right now and seems to be completely dialed in since Wimbledon. There’s not much value in betting this match straight. All you’re going to get is a janky return, so bet Swiatek winning in straight sets at 1.85 and reap the rewards.

That being said, Swiatek winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

Anisimova– Haddad Maia: Time 03:00

H2H: 0-0

Amanda Anisimova is 2-1 against Beatriz Haddad Maia, but the Brazilian has the more recent win. That said, recency is relative in this case because the match was in 2023. Anisimova has really been upping her game in 2025. She’s coming off a finals loss to Swiatek, and she’s going to be eager to wipe that double bagel from her recent memory. Haddad Maia is definitely outplaying her competition in Queen during 2025. She’s been the underdog in three of her four matches, and she obviously won the other two. Anisimova is going to be a bigger ask than her previous opponents.

Best Bet to Make

As mentioned earlier, Anisimova is eager to prove that her finals loss at Wimbledon was just a necessary step to winning in her home country. She’s already matched her career-best at the US Open and is very proficient on a hardcourt. As with our previous match, there’s not much value to be had betting straight. This is another match where picking total games or a correct score is going to be more financially beneficial than a straight bet. My personal favorite is over 20 games for 1.77. If you’re feeling froggy, you can even take 20.5 at 1.97!

That being said, Anisimova winning is a value bet for sure.
