In the third round, Rune defeated Michelsen in straight sets, whilst offering only one breakpoint. Yesterday in the 1/8-Finals, Tiafoe retired mid-match against Rune.

According to the bookies, Atmane is the big underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. The Frenchman is flying high this week in Cincinnati and has nothing to lose. If he delivers his best tennis, we expect him to keep this match close.

After playing for almost four hours, Rublev turned the match around against Popyrin, winning in three tight sets. Yesterday in the 1/8-Finals, the Russian demolished Comesana in straight sets easily.
Carlos Alcaraz has won four of his last five matches. This week in Cincinnati, the Spaniard defeated Dzumhur in three sets. He lost his serve three times in a rollercoaster-type match. In the second round, Carlos defeated Medjedovic in straight sets comfortably. Yesterday in the 1/8-Finals, the Spaniard demolished Nardi 6-1, 6-4. He trailed 2-4 in the second set, but turned it quickly around. Last season in Cincinnati, he lost to Monfils in the opening match in three tight sets.

According to the bookies, Alcaraz is the big favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Rublev has already won twice against him. Both players are in solid form, and we expect a high-quality tennis match. If Rublev serves well, we expect him to keep this match close.
