ATP Cincinnati Day 4 Predictions Including Ben Shelton vs Camilo Ugo Carabelli

As the Cincinnati Masters is well underway, here at LWOT we will be offering our predictions on every match, including new World No.6 Ben Shelton, just days after he won his first Masters 1000 title. Who will reach round three in Cincinnati?

ATP Cincinnati Day 4 Predictions

Ben Shelton vs Camilo Ugo Carabelli

Head-to-head: first meeting

Carabelli is looking to reach the third round of a Masters event for the first time since March. In his way stands an in-form Shelton, fresh off winning his first ever Masters 1000 title. As long as he doesn’t show any signs of fatigue, the American should have no issues getting past the Argentine.

Prediction: Shelton in 2

Tallon Griekspoor vs Hamad Medjedovic

Head-to-head: first meeting

The sharp-serving Dutch No.1 is looking for his first hard court win since May, after losing in the opening round in Toronto. Medjedovic is looking to get back on track after his retirement at Wimbledon, and after an impressive first round victory – in which he served 15 aces and didn’t face a break point – he will certainly prove to be a challenge for Griekspoor. Although, the Dutchman’s experience might prove decisive, and he should edge this one.

Prediction: Griekspoor in 3

Cameron Norrie vs Roberto Bautista Agut

Head-to-head: Norrie 4-0 Roberto Bautista Agut

After a difficult period, Norrie finds himself seeded in a Masters tournament for the first time in well over a year. The Brit is yet to lose to Bautista Agut, with their most recent meeting coming in the first round of Wimbledon. After a disappointing loss in Toronto, expect Norrie to get his hard court season back on track.

Prediction: Norrie in 2

Jenson Brooksby vs Arthur Cazaux

Head-to-head: first meeting

Wildcard Brooksby vs lucky-loser Cazaux. Perhaps controversially, Cazaux is into the second round without playing round one despite losing in qualifying. The fast courts should give Brooksby the edge on home soil, as the American continues to build his ranking points back up.

Prediction: Brooksby in 2
