Novak Djokovic’s All-Black Outfit for 2025 US Open Revealed

Novak Djokovic’s quest to win a 25th Grand Slam will continue this summer at the US Open, and the first pictures of his official outfit were revealed.

Djokovic is a four-time champion in New York. He will make his 19th main draw appearance this year. He reached the final in two of his last three participations but surprisingly lost to Alexei Popyrin in the third round last year.

The former World No. 1 has stumbled at the semifinal stage in the first three Grand Slams of 2025. He will ramp up preparations for the US Open next week when he returns in Cincinnati. The Serbian is committed to playing at least one Masters tournament next month after withdrawing from the National Bank Open.

As is always the case in any Grand Slam season, tennis outfits become a hot topic among enthusiastic fans. There is always anticipation about what Djokovic will wear, and a snippet of how Lacoste will dress him has now hit the internet. Djokovic is Lacoste’s most valuable tennis player and has his own customized clothing line for all tournaments.

Novak Djokovic to wear all-black outfit at the 2025 US Open

For many years, Djokovic’s clothing sponsor opted to manufacture vibrant colors for him to wear in Grand Slams. He has frequently donned blue, white, and red colors when competing at the US Open. However, Lacoste, in tandem with Djokovic’s footwear sponsor ASICS, will produce a full monochrome kit from head to toe for the 2025 tournament.

The strikingly all-black outfit features a black polo, shorts, and ASICS’ newly released footwear called COURT FF 3 NOVAK NIGHT ENERGY. The full kit has gold accents for contrast. Although the shirt has yet to hit Lacoste’s shelves, the shoes are available for sale on ASICS’s online store in the United States. They are priced at $190 for a pair. Additionally, Djokovic’s off-court look will include a black tracksuit. What looks like a promotional teaser of Djokovic wearing the outfit was also leaked.

Tennis fans’ reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Some have likened it to Roger Federer’s iconic outfit at the 2007 US Open. Djokovic has worn black outfits in the past as a Uniqlo ambassador. One of his most stylish outfits was a Lacoste navy polo and dark shorts, which he wore at the 2018 US Open. Djokovic won the tournament, defeating Juan Martin del Potro in the final.
