It’s time for the final at the WTA Nottingham Open. The match is as close to even as it gets, but here are my best bets. I threw in a prop bet to account for the fact that there’s only one match on offer. Tell me your thoughts on the outcome in the comments.

Every time that McCartney Kessler and Dayana Yastremska meet, something of import is on the line. Their last two matches were in the quarterfinals at their respective tournaments, and they split them, one match per lady. Kessler took their latest match in Hobart back in January of this year en route to a tournament victory. Yastremska is looking for her first tournament victory since 2023, but this would be her first main tournament victory since 2019. If their prior matches are any indication, it’s going to be a challenge for either lady to come away with the win.
Best Bet to Make
Kessler is the favorite, but it’s extremely close to being a draw. Kessler checks in at 1.91 while Yastremska is only 1.98 herself, that’s down from 2.01 just a few minutes ago. I imagine the line for this match will push closer to a draw as it approaches serve time. The reason the books are favoring Kessler slightly is because she’s had a tournament victory in 2025 already, and this is her third final overall. Yastremska has had a solid year, but without the final loss at Linz, the only other decent showing she’s had in 2025 was her semifinal loss to Kessler in Hobart. She hasn’t played beyond the round of 16 in anything else.
That being said, Kessler winning is a value bet for sure.

Best Bet to Make
If you think that Yastremska is the better player in this match and that she’s finally going to notch her first tournament victory, then you have a decent set of options ahead of you. Every single match these ladies have played has gone beyond 22 games, and over 22.5 games is available for a great value on Pinnacle. If you think Yastremska is going to take it straight up, you can still get decent value since she’s going for 1.98 on several sites. I would take the over 22.5 instead of straight up, but that’s because I think these ladies are in for another back-and-forth affair. That’s just how they play one another.
That being said, Over 22.5 games is a value bet for sure.
