Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Flavio Cobolli
Head-to-Head: Etcheverry 4–0 Cobolli
Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Flavio Cobolli will meet in the ATP Hamburg Open semifinals, with Etcheverry holding a 4–0 head-to-head advantage, including two wins on clay. Etcheverry, a seasoned clay-court specialist, boasts a career win rate of 66% on the surface and has reached multiple Challenger finals this season even if he has not quite delivered as he would have liked at tour-level. Cobolli’s recent form – which includes an impressive victory over the veteran Roberto Bautista Agut earlier this week – should give him some confidence, but it is hard to look past this one-sided head-to-head. Given Etcheverry’s superior clay-court pedigree and unblemished record against Cobolli, expect the Argentine to have the edge.

Andrey Rublev vs Felix Auger-Aliassime
Head-to-Head: Rublev 6–1 Auger Aliassime
Andrey Rublev and Felix Auger-Aliassime are set to clash in the Hamburg semifinals, with Rublev holding a dominant 6–1 head-to-head record over the Canadian, including two victories on clay. Rublev has displayed solid form this week, battling past Luciano Darderi in three sets hard-fought sets to reach the last four. That followed wins over Damir Dzumhur and German teenager Justin Engel to reach the last four. Auger-Aliassime, despite his recent struggles on clay, has shown impressive resilience by reaching the semifinals, with the highlight of his week so far a straight-sets win over Alexander Zverev’s conqueror Alexandre Muller. But given Rublev’s superior head-to-head record and consistent performance on clay, he enters the match as the favourite to advance to the final.
