ATP Miami Semifinal Predictions Including Novak Djokovic vs Grigor Dimitrov

The 2025 edition of the ATP Miami Open is all set for an exciting close with semifinal action upon us. No one is the clear favourite to win the title as all four men are playing great tennis this week. As ever, we preview and predict both semifinal matches scheduled for you.

ATP Miami Semifinal Predictions

Taylor Fritz vs Jakub Mensik

Head-to-head – Fritz 1-0 Mensik

Jakub Mensik hasn’t dropped a set since he dropped one in his first round match. The Czech, only 19 years old, is showing the world what a fantastic talent he is and this could be the tournament when he comes of age. His serve has been firing all week and that has made his life easier in terms of conserving his energy.

He now faces the third seed this week in Taylor Fritz. The top ranked American will no doubt enjoy the home support but it will be interesting to see how he recovers after a monumental effort to get past Matteo Berrettini in the last eight. These two did play once before which was one sided towards Fritz but that happened almost two years ago and Mensik looks a different player since then. Expect a close encounter but Mensik will definitely be the fresher out of the two and should have more energy in his shots from the baseline.
Prediction: Mensik in 3

Novak Djokovic vs Grigor Dimitrov

Head-to-head – Djokovic 12-1 Dimitrov

Novak Djokovic has flown under the radar this week if that’s even possible and the Serb has made the most out of it. That will change as all the limelight will now be on him as he is the most experienced out of the four semifinalists and expectations will be high for him to go all the way.

He faces an opponent he has played thirteen times in Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian has enjoyed a relatively easy draw this week but he has been pushed in a couple of matches and he will be wary of the level increase that awaits him in the form of Djokovic. The Serb has beaten Dimitrov twelve out of thirteen times and the question is has anything changed this time? The answer most likely is no given how well Djokovic is moving this week and serving.
Prediction: Djokovic in 2
