Last season was a disappointing season for Davidovich Fokina. It is his first appearance in Delray Beach. In the opening round, Alejandro won against Daniel in straight sets. Alejandro trailed 1-4 in the second set but turned it successfully around. In the second round, Alejandro won against McDonald in three sets.
