ATP Delray Beach Best Bets Including Kecmanovic vs Gojo

ATP 250 Delray Beach 1/16-Finals

Svajda – Norrie: 10.02.2025 20:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Zachary Svajda has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Dallas, Zachary failed to qualify for the main draw tournament. This week in Delray Beach, Svajda successfully qualified for the main draw tournament, winning both matches in straight sets. In the final qualifying round, Svajda won against Quinn in straight sets yesterday. It is his second appearance in Delray Beach. Last season, Svajda lost in the second round against Cobolli in three tight sets.

Cameron Norrie has lost four of his last five matches. Last week in Dallas, he lost in the second round against Opelka, as we predicted. It has been a disappointing season so far for the Brit. Last season was also disappointing, resulting in him being outside the top 50 in the rankings.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Svajda is the underdog in this matchup, and we agree. Norrie is in bad form but is still a better and more experienced player than Svajda. Norrie did well last week in Dallas, winning against Michelsen as an underdog and keeping it close against Opelka. We believe he will be a better player tonight and win comfortably in straight sets.

That being said, Norrie winning 2-0 is a value bet.

Kecmanovic – Gojo: 10.02.2025 19:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Miomir Kecmanovic has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Dallas, as we had predicted, Miomir lost in the opening round against Shapovalov. His biggest result this season was reaching the semifinals in Adelaide at the beginning of the season, losing against Korda in straight sets. It is his fourth appearance in Delray Beach. Last season, Kypson upset Miomir in the opening round. His biggest result happened in 2023, when he reached the final, losing against Fritz in three sets.

Borna Gojo has won three of his last five matches. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, losing in the final qualifying round against Dougaz in three sets. Borna is outside the top 400 in the rankings, but he has the quality to become a top 50 player. The constant injuries kept him off the courts, so he is not a higher-ranked player. He had his biggest results on indoor hard courts. He ended the 2024 season by winning the Challenger Tournament in Sioux Falls. It is his first appearance in Delray Beach.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Kecmanovic is the favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. Borna has a big serve and forehand, so we expect him to hold his service games easily. Kecmanovic is a solid player, but he has never had any success on indoor hard courts. We believe this will be a tight match that could go either way.

That being said, Gojo covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Borna Gojo +3.5 games handicap @1.73 @bet365
