Paris Olympics Men’s Day 2 Doubles Predictions

Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof (Netherlands) vs Marton Fucsovics and Fabian Marozsan (Hungary)

Yesh
This should be a fun one. The Hungarians are probably better on the whole right now than Griekspoor is, but Koolhof’s doubles prowess is probably the decider.
Prediction: Griekspoor and Koolhof in 2

Thiago Monteiro and Thiago Seyboth Wild (Brazil) vs Alexander Bublik and Aleksandr Nedovyesov (Kazakhstan)

Yesh
It’s the Thiagos against the Alexanders (though they spell their names differently). This should be fun, with four pretty unique players on the court. The Brazilians are more comfortable on clay, so I’ll stick with them.
Prediction: Monteiro and Seyboth Wild in 2

Andy Murray and Dan Evans (Great Britain) vs Kei Nishikori and Taro Daniel (Japan)

Yesh
Expect some serious emotions in this one, as it’s likely Andy Murray’s final professional match. We hope he’s healthy enough to make it competitive, and doubles is easier on the body, but he’s probably not advancing. Then again, no one ever knows how healthy Nishikori is, either.
Prediction: Daniel and Nishikori in 3
