ATP Kitzbuhel Best Bets Including Berrettini vs Moreno de Alboran

Matteo Berrettini Australian Open

ATP 250 Kitzbuhel quarterfinals

Berrettini – Moreno de Alboran: 25.07.2024 12:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Matteo Berrettini has won six of seven matches. Last week in Gstaad, Matteo won the title without dropping a single set. It was another great clay court tournament for him which got him into the top 50 in the rankings. Here in Kitzbuhel, Berrettini won his first round match against Kotov in straight sets as we predicted. In the second round, Matteo won against Tabilo in two tiebreaks as we predicted. Matteo just needs to stay fit, and he will be a top 10 player soon enough. The last time he played in Kitzbuhel was in 2018, where he reached the quarterfinals.

Nicolas Moreno de Alboran has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Gstaad, Moreno lost in the first round against Hanfmann in three tight sets. Here in Kitzbuhel, Moreno won his first round match against Collarini in easy straight sets. After that, in the second round, Nicolas had an easy draw, winning against Neumayer in straight sets yet again. So far in the tournament, Moreno has yet to face a top 200 player. This is his best season, as he is looking to break into the top 100, and play more often at the ATP tour level. This season, Moreno got his first main-draw win at the ATP tour level.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Matteo is the big favorite in this matchup. We expected a one-sided match from the very start to go in Matteo’s favor. Berrettini is more experienced and overall a better player than Moreno de Alboran. We believe that he will win once again in straight sets and continue his winning streak.

That being said, Berrettini winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Seyboth Wild – Hanfmann: 25.07.2024 11:00 CEST
H2H: 1-2

Thiago Seyboth Wild has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Hamburg, Thiago lost in the first round against Zhang in straight sets as we predicted. Earlier this season, Seyboth Wild played solid tennis and almost got into the top 50. Unfortunately, the injuries had ruined his second part of the season. Here in Kitzbuhel, Thiago won his first round match against Schwaerzler in straight sets. In the second round, Thiago won against Djere in three tight sets as we predicted. Last year in Kitzbuhel, Thiago lost in the second round of the tournament against Djere in straight sets.

Yannick Hanfmann has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Gstaad, Hanfmann lost in the second round of the tournament against Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. Here in Kitzbuhel, Hanfmann won his first round match against Munar in straight sets. In the second round, Hanfmann defeated Heide in three tight sets. Here in Kitzbuhel, Yannick has played two times. In 2020, Hanfmann reached the final here as a qualifier. Two years later, Hanfmann lost in the semifinals.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. We believe that Thiago is in a way better form than Hanfmann. He is a great clay court player, so we think that he will win this match easily.

That being said, Seyboth Wild winning is a value bet.
