ATP Halle Best Bets Including Sinner vs Marozsan

Jannik Sinner ahead of ATP Halle

ATP 500 Halle 1/8-Finals

Hurkacz – Duckworth: 20.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 1-0

Hubert Hurkacz has won four of his last five matches. This was his first grass court tournament of the season. Hurkacz is one of the best grass court players at the moment. Two weeks ago, Hubert reached the 1/8-Finals at the French Open where he lost against Dimitrov in three tight sets. Here in Halle, Hurkacz won his first round match in straight sets against Flavio Cobolli. Last year in Halle, Hubert lost against Griekspoor in the second round. After that, Hurkacz had a solid performance at Wimbledon where he reached the 1/8-Finals, losing against Djokovic in four sets.

James Duckworth has won four of his last five matches. The Australian is looking to improve his ranking on the grass court part of the season. Last week in Stuttgart, Duckworth reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Berrettini in two tight sets. Here in Halle, James fought through the qualifying tournament to get into the main draw. In the first qualifying round, Duckworth won against Karatsev in three sets. After that, Moutet stood no chance against James. Yesterday in the first round, Duckworth saved both breakpoints against Fonseca and won comfortably 6-4.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Hurkacz is a huge favorite in this matchup. Duckworth has shown great grass court tennis recently, and we believe that he will have his chance against Hubert.

That being said, Duckworth covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Sinner – Marozsan: 20.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: first meeting

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. The new number 1 lost against Alcaraz two weeks ago at the French Open in the semifinals as we predicted. The grass court part of the season will be his favorite one, once he gets the momentum going. Here in Halle, Sinner was set down in the first round against Griekspoor. However, once he felt comfortable on grass, Sinner turned the match around easily. Last year in Halle, Sinner retired mid-match in his quarterfinal match against Bublik. After that, at Wimbledon, Sinner lost in the semifinals against Djokovic.

Fabian Marozsan has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Stuttgart, Marozsan lost in the first round against Hamad Medjedovic as we predicted. Fabian won the first set in the tiebreak, but after that, Marozsan made way too many unforced errors, and just was not good enough. Fabian has played only six matches on grass so far in his career and has an even 3-3 record. Here in Halle, Marozsan won his first round match against Safiullin in three sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is a huge favorite in this matchup, which is obvious. Jannik is the best player in the world right now, and he loves to play on grass. We believe that he will win against the inexperienced Marozsan easily.

That being said, Sinner covering the games handicap is a value bet.
