Yannick Hanfmann has lost four of his last five matches. The German has had a pretty rough season so far, losing most of his matches. Last week, Hanfmann also played a challenger tournament in Heilbronn where he lost against Choinski in the first round. Hanfmann loves to play on the grass where he had some of his biggest wins. Last year, Hanfmann won some big matches against players such as Tsitsipas and Feliciano Lopez. Yannick needs a good result here in Stuttgart if he wants to stay in the top 100.

According to the bookies, Hanfmann is just a slight favorite in this matchup. Grass court surface is the fastest one and younger inexperienced players usually need a lot of time to adapt to the surface. Yannick has played many matches on the grass already, and we believe that his experience will prevail in this match.

Hamad Medjedovic is one of the biggest young talents right now. Medjedovic is looking to get into the top 100. Two weeks ago, Hamad successfully qualified for the French Open. He put up a big fight in the first round against Cobolli but fell short in four sets. Medjedovic has played only 8 matches on the grass so far in his career. He has a 5-3 winning record and looks comfortable playing on grass. Last year, Hamad qualified for Wimbledon, where he lost in the first round against O’Connell in four tight sets.
Fabian Marozsan has lost four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago, Fabian lost in the second round of the French Open against Dimitrov in straight sets. So far in his career, Marozsan has only played four matches on the grass with an even 2-2 record. Even though he is 24 years old, Fabian made his grass-court debut last year. We are still not sure what to expect from him on the grass courts.
Best Bet to Make
Medjedovic has already shown that he can play great tennis on grass. His game is great for the fast courts. We believe that he is a better grass court player than Marozsan, and that he will win easily today.
That being said, Medjedovic winning is a value bet.
