ATP Madrid Best Bets Including Karatsev vs Marozsan

Aslan Karatsev ahead of ATP Madrid

ATP Madrid 1/64-Finals

Karatsev – Marozsan: 24.04.2024 14:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Aslan Karatsev is back after being out for the whole season. The Russian suffered a knee injury at the beginning of the season in Brisbane. This required surgery, and he has been absent ever since. We are not sure if he is 100 percent fit for tomorrow. Last year in Madrid, Karatsev reached the semifinals where he lost against Struff in three sets. This was also his biggest success on the clay in 2022. Karatsev plays fast tennis, so he loves to play on fast surfaces.

Fabian Marozsan has been consistent throughout this season. The Hungarian is looking to break into the top 30. He has won three of his last five matches. Marozsan played his first clay court tournament last week in Barcelona. Van Asscher retired against him mid-match in the first round. After that, Marozsan lost in the second round against Diaz Acosta in three tough sets. He won two challenger titles on the clay last year, so we expect him to do well at the ATP Tour level as well.

Best Bet to Make

Karatsev can always be dangerous when he brings up his A-level tennis. However, he did not play for almost 5 months. We are not sure how he will look in court. On the other hand, Marozsan is playing his best tennis, and we believe that he will win easily tomorrow.

That being said, Marozsan winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Coric – Hassan: 24.04.2024 16:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Borna Coric has lost three of his last five matches. He has been struggling throughout this and last season as well. The Croatian was one of the biggest talents growing up. He had some great wins against Nadal and Federer earlier in his career. This season, Coric played only three matches on the clay, and lost 2 of them. The last match he played was last week in Barcelona, where he lost against Diaz Acosta in straight sets.

Benjamin Hassan played most of his career at the challenger tour level. Earlier this season, Hassan lost in the Girona Challenger semifinal against Martinez. Other than that, Hassan has not had any remarkable success this season so far. Hassan fought throughout the qualification tournament and got into the main draw after two tough matches. He won his last match against Mochizuki after playing for almost three hours.

Best Bet to Make

Borna Coric is a far better player than Hassan. We believe that this is a perfect match for him to regain his best form and start winning again. Coric loves to play on the clay, and we believe that he will win easily tomorrow.

That being said, Coric winning in straight sets is a value bet.
