ATP Monte Carlo Best Bets Including Sinner vs Rune

Jannik Sinner celebrates winning a point.

ATP Monte Carlo quarterfinals

Tsitsipas – Khachanov: 12.04.2024 11:00 CEST
H2H: 7-2

Stefanos Tsitsipas won in straight sets against Zverev as we predicted. Tsitsipas is yet to lose a set in Monte Carlo. His forehand was working brilliantly today. Even though he did not serve well tonight, Tsitsipas still managed to win in straight sets. He won the first set 7-5. In the second set, Tsitsipas was 5-0 up. Zverev came back, but Tsitsipas stayed calm and won in the tiebreak. He has already won 2 titles, here in Monte Carlo. Tsitsipas showed the best tennis of all the players currently in the tournament. We believe that he has a decent chance at winning Monte Carlo once again.

Karen Khachanov won against Medvedev as we predicted. We knew that he had a decent chance, because Medvedev hates clay courts. Medvedev got some bad calls from the umpire, and he completely lost his focus in this match. However, Khachanov deserved to win as he displayed great tennis against Medvedev. His backhand was working perfectly well. Even though Khachanov won in straight sets, he spent almost 2 hours on the court. He already had two tough first round matches, so it will be interesting to see if he will be fit for Tsitsipas tomorrow.

Best Bet to Make

As we already mentioned, Tsitsipas is playing great at the moment. We believe that he will win easily against Khachanov, who is probably going to be tired tomorrow. Tsitsipas also won their only head-to-head meeting on the clay court.

That being said, Tsitsipas winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Rune – Sinner: 12.04.2024 13:00 CEST
H2H: 2-1

Holger Rune had to play two matches today. He had to finish his 1/16-Finals match against Nagal. Rune won against Nagal in three sets. After just a couple of hours, Rune faced Dimitrov. They played for almost 4 hours. Rune won in three sets, after winning 2 tiebreaks. He almost has no time to rest for Sinner, and we are not sure if he will be ready tomorrow. Tennis is a physically tough sport, and after playing two matches on the same day, you need rest. Rune looked solid in both matches, but was not really consistent with his ground strokes.

Jannik Sinner won both of his matches in Monte Carlo easily. In the 1/16-Finals, Sinner won 6-1 6-2 against Korda. Today, he won easily against Struff in straight sets as well. The last tournament Sinner played was in Miami, where he won another Masters title. He won in the final against Dimitrov in straight sets. He is currently one of the best players in the world. Currently, Sinner is second in the world, but if he keeps playing like this, he will surely become the new number 1.

Best Bet to Make

All being said, we believe that Rune will be tired and exhausted tomorrow. If you are not 100% ready, you have no chance against Sinner. We believe that Sinner will have another easy match and that he will dominate from the very start against Rune.

That being said, Sinner to win in straight sets is a value bet.
