Etcheverry easily won against Galan in the 1/8-Finals as we predicted! He looked fit and was able to dominate from the first point! He still needed some time to adapt to this fast clay court surface, but once he found his rhythm, he was unstoppable. He will play against Mmoh tonight! Mmoh won in straight sets against Purcell. His serve was once again incredible! He offered only one breakpoint and saved it as well! Last year, Etcheverry played in the final, here in Houston. He is a great clay court player, and we believe that he will win easily tonight. We also have to mention that he played last year in the quarterfinals of the French Open! He just needs to stay fit and everything will be fine! That being said, Etcheverry to win in straight sets is a value bet!

Shelton – Nakashima: 05.04.2024 20:30 CEST
After winning against Bergs in three tough sets, Ben Shelton is through to his first quarterfinal on the clay court. He has an 8-10 losing record on this surface. Bergs is a challenger tour level player and Shelton had problems against him. He won, but it was not his best performance. He will face Nakashima tonight! Brandon also loves to play on the hard court. However, he had some decent wins on this surface as well. Nakashima won both rounds in straight sets. He looked great on the court! He played last year in Lyon in the semifinal, also on the clay court. Nakashima can play perfect tennis on the clay as well! This is the first clay court tournament this year for both guys. Shelton was seeded, so he only played one match. Nakashima had to play two matches, and he adapted pretty quickly to the surface. We believe that Nakashima is a way better clay court player than Shelton is. That being said, Nakashima winning is a value bet!

Marcos Giron won easily against Shapovalov in the first round as we predicted! After that, Giron won against Wolf, also in straight sets. Giron is American, so the hard court surface is obviously his favorite one! However, Giron reached the 1/16-Finals last year at the French Open. It is not his favorite surface, but he can play well on the clay as well! His opponent, Darderi, is a young Italian talent. He loves to play on the clay, and he is also good at it! Last month, Darderi reached the quarterfinal in Santiago. Darderi also won the ATP Córdoba 250 2 months ago. He is a great clay court specialist, and we believe that he will get into the top 50 after the clay court swing! Yesterday, Darderi won in three sets against Cerundolo as an underdog! We believe that he will continue his run tonight as well! He is just a better clay court player, and we believe that he will win easily tonight!
