Quentin Halys has dropped in the rankings and has been playing most of the time at the challenger tour level this year. His tennis and overall playing style has always been good enough for the ATP Tour, but as of recently, he has started making way too many unforced errors. He has a big challenge in the first qualification round already. Soonwoo Kwon used to be a solid ATP tour level player. The injuries literally destroyed his young career. However, he is still really young, and he could stay fit and be able to recover his mind. He could get back to his prime level! He is playing terribly at the moment-he is on a 9 9-year losing streak, and it does not look like it will end soon. His shoulder injury got back again earlier this year, and it seems like he is not ready at all. His opponent, Watanuki, is also not playing his best tennis at the moment.
However, he is lurking around the top 100 in the rankings, and he played a perfect match in Australia against Kecmanovic, where he lost in 4 tough sets. We believe that Watanuki is a far better player at the moment and that he will eventually get to the main draw in Indian Wells. All being said, Yosuke Watanuki winning in straight sets is a value bet considering Kwon’s current form and fitness!

Zachary Svajda has been playing really well this year. Young American is hoping to get into the top 100 rankings this year. He has had a couple of great wins already this year and this match will definitely be one of the biggest matches so far this year. His opponent, Duje Ajdukovic, has also played well so far this year. This match will be a big challenge for him because nobody wants to play against a young American player in front of his own crowd. We believe that Svajda will play his best tennis since he is playing at home and wins in front of his own crowd. Usually, Ajdukovic can not handle the pressure well, so we believe that this will be a big factor in this match!
