United Cup Day 4 Predictions Including Adrian Mannarino vs Alexander Zverev

The United Cup is well underway with high octane clashes scheduled for Day 4. Two tennis heavyweight nations face off with France playing its first tie and Germany its second. As ever, we at LWOT preview and predict all matches scheduled for you.

United Cup Day 4 Predictions

Caroline Garcia vs Angelique Kerber

Head to head – Garcia 3-6 Kerber

Angelique Kerber is putting on a great show of strength to return to court after her pregnancy amd her first match here was a close one as well. The German will have to elevate her game if she’s to beat Caroline Garcia, who is still a formidable opponent on hard courts. Expect a tight tussle between the two with the experienced German just edging this one who does enjoy a favourable head to head.
Prediction: Kerber in 3

Adrian Mannarino vs Alexander Zverev

Head to head – Mannarino 0-8 Zverev

This is one of the lopsided head to heads on the tour. Adrian Mannarino is a solid baseliner but Alexander Zverev is capable of handling anyone from the baseline and the head to head is a testament to how well the German dominates Mannarino. Expect another one sided match up with Zverev fine tuning his performance from the one he displayed in the first tie.
Prediction: Zverev in 2

Caroline Garcia/Edouard Roger-Vasellin vs Laura Siegemund/Maximillian Marterer

The French team is fielding a much stronger team on paper perhaps due to the expectation that this result may come into effect in deciding group standings. Garcia and Roger-Vasellin both possess a solid serve and would likely be the better net players than Siegemund and Marterer. Expect an easy win for the French.
Prediction: Garcia/Roger-Vasellin in straight sets
