Casper Ruud as expected has begun his clay court swing with a final appearance and early signs point towards him being a contender for major tournaments that lie ahead. That being said, the Norwegian has had to battle in his matches so far and it has been anything but smooth sailing for the top seed.
He takes on the player who has looked the most secure this past week. Miomir Kecmanovic is no slouch when it comes to playing on clay and the Serb will be fancying his chances here. He has a favourable head-to-head but they last met in 2019 so not much can be read into it given how much Ruud has improved since.

The matchup will most likely be decided by how well both defend off the backhand side when the opponent is pummelling it with their forehands. Neither player possess a mighty serve so expect long baseline rallies which should keep the crowd entertained.
Expect Ruud to initially dominate the match but Kecmanovic will start opening up the court as the match progresses and wrestle control of the match. The Serb to nab his second career title.
