An exciting Day 4 at the ATP Miami Open awaits. Will the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Denis Shapovalov come through? Let’s take a look.
ATP Miami Day 4 Predictions Including Stefanos Tsitsipas vs JJ Wolf
Pedro Martinez vs Cristian Garin
Head-to-head: Garin leads 3-0
Garin has won all three encounters against the Spaniard and the Chilean will be looking to advance to the next round here in Miami. Expect a close battle as all past three encounters have been close ones. Expect the Chilean to win the fourth time against Martinez.
Prediction: Garin in 3
Denis Shapovalov vs Lloyd Harris
Head-to-head: Harris leads 2-0
Shapovalov has had a mixed start to 2022 and surprisingly has lost both his encounters to Lloyd Harris in their past two meetings. Could this be the the third time Harris gets the better out of Shapovalov? It’ll be a close and it will depend how the Canadian will play. Slight edge to the South African.
Prediction: Harris in 2
Aslan Karatsev vs Ugo Humbert
Head-to-head: Karatsev leads 1-0
The 28-year-old Russian has had an underwhelming last few months. He lost back-to-back rounds in Dubai and Indian Wells and will be looking to bounce back here in Miami. Likewise, Humbert hasn’t had the best 2022 season–winning only one match all year so far. It will be an interesting match up, but the Russian should come through.
Prediction: Karatsev in 2
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs JJ Wolf
Head-to-head: Tsitsipas leads 1-0
Tsitsipas reached the quarterfinals here in Miami in 2021 and he will be looking to even better that result this year. The 23-year-old beat Wolf in Mexico earlier this year 6-1 6-0 and it could be a similar result here again in Miami unless Wolf changes his tactics.
Prediction: Tsitsipas in 2
