WTA Bogota Day 4 Predictions Including Tereza Martincova vs Maria Camila Osorio Serrano

Top seeds continue to tumble at the WTA Copa Colsanitas in Bogota. Of the top eight seeds, only Tamara Zidansek and Tereza Martincova remain. Both are in action on Thursday as they look to take a step closer to the title. We take a look at how they – and the rest of the players in action – should fair in our WTA Bogota Day 4 predictions.

WTA Bogota Day 4 Predictions

Tamara Zidansek vs Giulia Gatto-Monticone

Head-to-head: First meeting

This should be a pretty straightforward affair for Zidansek. She was mightily impressive in her first round demolition of Anna Kalinskaya and will be looking to make a deep run here. By contrast, Gatto-Monticone snuck through against Astra Sharma but was unconvincing in that match. Zidansek is higher ranked, has the bigger game and looks to be in better form. As such, she should advance here.
Prediction: Zidansek in 2

Daniela Seguel vs Harmony Tan

Head-to-head: First meeting

Daniela Seguel did well to come through a tough first round test against Tauson. Equally, Tan was impressive in her victory over Mihaela Buzarnescu. Segue is far more comfortable on clay while Tan has the bigger game and greater upside. I think the comfort on the red dirt should prove enough for Seguel, who may end up having a dream week in Bogota if the draw is kind to her.
Prediction: Seguel in 3

Tereza Martincova vs Maria Camila Osorio Serrano

Head-to-head: First meeting

Tereza Martincova was shaky in her first match in Bogota. The Czech has been in great form in recent weeks but took a while to get going on the clay. She won’t be able to do the same in her second round match. Maria Camila Osorio Serrano looks a real talent destined to climb the rankings in the women’s game. The 2019 junior US Open champion dismantled Vickery in her first match and will be full of confidence on home soil. That confidence and home-court advantage should see her through another match here if Martincova is off the ball again.
Prediction: Osorio Serrano in 3
