ATP Dubai Day 3 Predictions Including Kei Nishikori vs David Goffin

Kei Nishikori US Open 2019

Day 3 at the ATP Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships should be an incredible day of tennis. With 15 matches, we’re here to predict all of them for four. There are four great ones in this article, but we have more. We also have predictions for the rest of the day’s matches, in three other sets. One features Pablo Carreno Busta vs Marton Fucsovics, another headlines Roberto Bautista Agut vs Matthew Ebden, and the last features Kei Nishikori vs David Goffin.

ATP Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Day 3 Predictions

Richard Gasquet vs Hubert Hurkacz

Gasquet can play well when he’s healthy, but that’s always a bit of an open question nowadays. Hurkacz, meanwhile, is a bright talent who hasn’t quite found his consistency yet. I think that Gasquet will make it through, but it’s never a safe pick with the Frenchman. His health and ability to play well is never guaranteed anymore, unfortunately.
Prediction: Gasquet in 3

Emil Ruusuvuori vs Andrey Rublev

Ruusuvuori is a young talent who has been making waves recently. He hasn’t quite played as well since returning from the pandemic as he did before then, but he’s a rising player. Unfortunately for him, Andrey Rublev has already risen. The young Russian will be a threat to win Majors for the foreseeable future, and he’ll make his way through here.
Prediction: Rublev in 2

Dominic Thiem vs Lloyd Harris

Harris can play and serve well, which means he can be involved in any match. He doesn’t bring his best every match, though, and his absolute best is what is needed to beat a player like Thiem. The Austrian should power his way through this one.
Prediction: Thiem in 2

Kei Nishikori vs David Goffin

This should be an amazing match. Goffin is a great player who hasn’t quite been at his best in recent months. Nishikori, meanwhile, is an elite talent who is just finding his form again as he returns from many injuries. It will be tough to predict, but I do think the Japanese gets through this, as he adjusts to his revamped serve.
Prediction: Nishikori in 3
